One of my great passions is mountains.
I love hiking, scrambling and climbing and I am lucky enough to spend a good deal of my free time hiking and climbing in the UK and parts of Europe.
I regularly lead groups of friends out on the hills around the UK and it gives me great joy introducing ‘first timers’ to the mountains.
This page is still under construction, but in time I will post details here of some of the treks, climbs and adventures that I enjoy.
I rock climb in the Peak District and in the Wye Valley in South Wales, and I love to spend time hiking on Brecon Beacons, in Snowdonia, the Lake District, Peak District and Scottish Highlands, and in The Pyrenees and The Alps when I get the chance. I have been lucky enough to climb in Joshua Tree National Park, in the Aigle valley in Switzerland, and to hike in the Canadian Rockies, as well as running ultramarathons over the French Alps.
